Metal Trading & Reinforcement Solutions

Reinforcement steel is the backbone of concrete construction. It provides the structural support required to resist load, prevent cracking, and ensure the long-term durability of buildings, roads, and infrastructure. At MoonStone, we supply certified reinforcement steel designed to perform under pressure — in every project, every time.

Key Features and Advantages

Engineered for High Loads
Our reinforcement bars are manufactured to withstand mechanical stress and environmental extremes. They offer exceptional tensile strength, making them suitable for both low-rise housing and high-demand industrial or civil structures.

Improves Structural Performance
Integrated into concrete, the steel evenly distributes loads, significantly reducing the risk of deformation, shrinkage cracks, or early failure. This translates to safer, longer-lasting results across a variety of construction applications.

Versatile Range of Sizes
We stock a wide spectrum of diameters and lengths — from 4 mm to 40 mm and 6 m to 12 m in length. Custom dimensions are also available to meet specific project or engineering requirements.

Certified and Compliant
All products conform to national and international standards, with full traceability and supporting documentation upon request.

Product Classifications

By Material

The most commonly used material is hot-rolled steel — favored for its reliability, cost-efficiency, and suitability for large-scale production. All reinforcement steel complies with regulated technical standards and manufacturing controls.

By Profile Type

Smooth Bars
Used primarily for assembling reinforcement cages and temporary structural supports. Their even surface prevents movement during installation and concrete pouring. Best suited for lightly loaded components.

Ribbed Bars
Feature a textured surface that forms a mechanical bond with concrete, enhancing cohesion and resistance to slippage — a standard in structural reinforcement.

Ribbed profiles vary by type, each affecting performance:

  • Crescent-shaped ribs — Reduce stress concentrations; ideal for applications requiring flexibility.

  • Ring-shaped ribs — Provide maximum concrete adhesion, but are more susceptible to stress at rib intersections.

  • Mixed-profile ribs — Combine the benefits of both; optimal strength and bond performance, typically used in critical zones.
